Constant increase of the production and expansion
of SIMPO’s activities over the years have created
the need to develop and promote own sales channels.
Nowadays, trade is one of the major SIMPO’s activities.
Selling furniture and household equipment and appliances
all over the country, the company has developed its
own trading network with 80 department stores, outlets
and shops. SIMPO also possesses a well branched-out
SI-MARKET network for placement of alimentary goods
with 170 outlets. SIMPO is carries out foreign-trade
activities by its own firms and representative offices
abroad.
Placement of furniture
Development of SIMPO’s retail-trade network was initiated
in January 1971, by the opening of the first commercial
showroom outside of Vranje – in the small Serbian
city of Zajecar. Ever since, SIMPO’s retail-trade
network has been expanded and 70-80% of the goods
are being sold through this channel.
Today,
SIMPO’s retail-trade network has 59 outlets in Serbia,
with 51.943 m2 of surface, and five outlets in Montenegro.

Placement of alimentary goods
SI Market
SIMPO entered in trade of alimentary goods in 1997 when it merged PC VEMA (Vranje)
with its 79 outlets. By the beginning of 2000, the
“Srbijanka” trading company from Belgrade, with 70
outlets was also merged by SIMPO. In January 2002,
SIMPO merged “Tamis” trade from Pancevo with its 29
outlets.

Nowadays, SIMPO’s retail-trade network consists of 34 outlets in Vranje (3.348,20 m2), 33 outlets in Belgrade (4.310,15 m2) and 13 outlets in Pancevo (3.577,50 m2). Business centre and storehouses in Belgrade and Vranje - 7.084 m2.
Foreign trade
SIMPO possesses a well-developed network of firms,
representative offices and outlets in Europe and USA.
Some 40% of the production is being placed on the
foreign market. Nowadays, SIMPO’s products can be
found in homes in over 40 European, American, Asian
and African countries, as well as in Australia.
