DEVELOPMENT AND STRATEGY
  Starting from a standpoint that profit is the basic motive of any business activity – SIMPO has developed a whole range of activities and services, in addition to its furniture industry.  


Some of these activities are the result of the company’s strategic objective to fully round up its production of furniture. Starting from that point, a complete trading network has been developed, followed by the creating of transportation pool and establishing of the Furnishing Department and Design Center, as well as the SIMPO Line - firm specialized in interior design and furnishing, operating by the “turnkey” principle. SIMPO has also entered other fields of activity that relies on natural and human resources of the Vranje Municipality and South Serbia region. These fields of activity include development of agro industry, food and beverage industry, and catering and tourism.

The company has developed its own trade network, consisting of 80 outlets and department stores throughout the country. Foreign-trade dealings are carried out through a network of own firms and representative offices. SIMPO possesses its own transportation company and a SI-MARKET network for placement of alimentary goods with 170 outlets.

As the part of its agro and food and beverage business, SIMPO produces organic food, confectionery products and possesses plantations of quince trees, peat factory, sheep farms and fish ponds on the Vlasina Mountain; SIMPO owns several exclusive catering and tourist objects, tourist agency and it deals with publishing and agency activities.
